Like any first project, you usually start off with an application called “Hello World”. Well, this is the first project I’ve actually done for myself, so “Hello World”!
My goal with this site is to chat about all things related to technology. Those of you who know me know that I’ve been in the cybersecurity space for the past few years. I want to use this as a platform to learn about other areas of technology that are relevant today. Those of you in this industry are well aware — there is a constant learning process.
I worked for a company a while back that believed in the 70-20-10 model for learning and development. The theory suggests that learning something new can be effective by obtaining hands-on experience (70%), learning from others or teaching others (20%), and formal training (10%). I believe this theory to be accurate just from my own experience. So I’m going to be applying this technique as I post about various topics here.
